Description
A photograph of a band formed by the Culion community composed entirely of patients on the island. Various ages and instruments are seen including the cymbals and the tuba. They have music stands with sheets of music. Some are wearing shoes or sandals while others are barefoot. A conductor stands front and center with a bright hat. Patients on the island were encouraged to maintain civic pride on the island and explored this in many ways from holding elections to raising cattle to performing as a band.
